Spring-heeled Jack (Springald, or Springheel Jack) is a mysterious traveler and makes leaps and bounds around the globe, terrorizing wherever he goes. Wearing a hat and black cape, Spring-heeled Jack has eyes that glow bright red and can spit blue fire. He is also reported to have claws like iron. This particular cryptid originally belongs to London (where he first appeared) but has been spotted in Cape Cod and lastly Silver City, New Mexico as recent as 1934.  One of our strongest duochrome shades to date, a red orange matte base loose eyeshadow with a shift that travels from purple to blue to golden bronze.

    Desert Shine

Published by Christina Hughes on 18th Dec 2021

Lovely, not clumpy, easy to apply, fine powder. A dusty orange base that definitely has the feel of the American southwestern desert. And the shimmer! For me, when wearing alone over a primer, the shine looks white (and makes the base appear more ruddy). I have noticed for me, while using a primer, that Spring Heeled Jack is influenced by the colors used at the corners of my eyes. Trial by Stone (medium toned brown with green shimmer) gets the appearance of a light green shimmer with a more earthy base, Lockridge Monster (dark brown with blue shimmer) influences the base toward brown and the shimmer to pale blue, a gold or yellow pulls Spring Heeled Jack toward orange base with yellow shimmer, I'm delighted and amazed.

This is such a unique duochrome...don't even know how to describe it. The base is such a beautiful, bronzy rose gold that shifts from green to purple. The way it looks in person is very true to what you see in the pictures, but it's even prettier and more dynamic when you see it in action. Love love love this shadow.
