It does not look all that exciting in the pan... but WOW does it look amazing on the eyes. Very unique color combination. So elated that I was destined to own this gem!

    So good

I purchased this with two others. It performs perfectly and looks just as it does in the photos shown. I absolutely live for this color. It's like an oil slick and the rainbow is just stunning. I really can't wait to see what else Notoriously Morbid comes up with in multichromes.

    you need this.

I love, love, LOVE multichrome and color-shifting shades for my nails, for my eyelids, and for my lips. I own and have tried a lot of them, and unfortunately so many of them perform differently or come out lackluster when actually used. Sometimes the lighting is crucial (holo nail polishes under direct sunlight, for example, where they can look dull under other lighting situations), sometimes the application is different (finger versus brush); sometimes any attempt at blending blends away the magic of a magical eyeshadow, leaving behind an unmagical base color; sometimes the color in the pan or jar or bottle or tube is just never what you're going to get on your nail or on your eye or on your lips because of opacity issues.

None of that is true for this formula.

This eyeshadow works with a finger and one swipe. It works with a brush. It works dry. It works wet. It works with mixing medium. It is opaque in one coat (but you can build to two if you really want). You can blend out the edges without worrying about ruining the magic of the lid. The color of the swatch is the color in the pan is the color on your lid. It actually looks BETTER in lower / less direct light. It's astonishing. I've honestly never encountered an eyeshadow that actually DELIVERS on a promise like this. Those hand swatches in the product photo? THAT IS ACTUALLY WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE IN REAL LIFE. (I would say the pink is actually more vibrant and the almost-green antique gold is pretty spot on in the photos.) It's absolutely beautiful, absolutely amazing, and you should get this line of shadows. Everyone needs these. Wow. Just wow.
