Druidess Mystic Matte Liquid Lipstick

I was so excited for this shade. It looked fantastic on the models. Unfortunately when it arrived and I applied it to my lips I noticed it’s much darker in real life than in the pictures. I went outside to see if the sun would brighten the appearance at all and sadly it’s still too dark. I was hoping for a deep ruby red, but it’s more of a deep wine color. Which I’ve come to like, but it’s not what I had hoped for. And it’s not just me, but my friend feels the same way with her notoriously morbid lipstick too. Keep in mind it’s going to be darker than the advertisement. It does have some perks though. It’s easy to apply, comfortable to wear and the staying power will last all day as long as you don’t eat anything. It doesn’t smear or smudge too badly. I just hope Notoriously Morbid does eventually release a rich ruby red shade that’s not as dark as this one. I wish the photos represented the shade more accurately.

Druidess is THE color you are looking for if you want a deep, crimson red that will instantly cast spells on whomever is so lucky {perhaps unlucky} to cross your path. This red is unbelievably enchanting and ridiculously smooth... you'd be cheating yourself if you didn't give this velvety lippy a try! The formula is long lasting and non-drying- so go on, you deserve it <3

I love the intensity of this lip color, however it appears more purple than red on my skin tone. Eaay to apply and one coat will last all day.

I got the mini and wished I ordered the full size, it can be used as an everyday look but also steers from being boring. It has a lot of dimension and I just love it so.

Honestly my favorite red shade now. The metallic is subtle but absolutely present and gives Druidess some real dimension. It’s a deep soulful red. Pretty easy to apply, great coverage, and less transfer than I was expecting. It’ll rub off, but it’s a true Matte in that it won’t transfer by touching.

This is what I wanted Jeffree Star's Rich Blood to be. It is such an amazing deep red with just the right amount of metallic edge. Beyond the colour itself, the wear is comfortable and, while it is not going to last through make outs or eating all the things, it is going to last so much longer than any bullet. The same can be said for JStar's liquid lip as well. I reach for each formulae equally--NM's liquid lips easily stand up to the big names.

I'm known for wearing tons of different shades of red and this one earned me more than a few compliments since I started using it. Velvety, lightly metallic which grants you that extra oomph in a very effortless way.

If you wear Red lip color you need this one in your collection, if you don't wear it I recommend it! I have not seen any one that it doesn't look good on, it is that good!
