Before applying any lipstick, make sure your lips are moisturized. I like using Notoriously Morbid's Slumber Salve, which is a very moisturizing lip balm. Apply your makeup in the right order. I always start with my eyes, then move on to my face, and finish with my lips. That way, I don't accidentally smudge anything with my lipstick wand. Set your face with powder. Before applying the lipstick, make sure everything else is set with powder. I don't personally set my lips with powder, but there might be a little bit of powder on them. Use the wand to apply the lipstick. I love the applicator wand that comes with Druidess. It's more flat than a traditional doe foot wand, which makes it easier to create precise lines and curves. Have a small concealer brush on hand. If you mess up your application, you can use a small makeup brush with a bit of concealer to go over the lines and correct mistakes.
