Nestled in Point Pleasant West Virginia, the Mothman gets his fame from his big black moth like body and piercing red eyes. First sighted in 1966, he made his presence known to this little town for years. Whether he was an omen of impending doom or just hanging out in the sky, he is another well known cryptid with several documentaries and a movie.
