Venus Crystal- A pink to golden orange duochrome.

Our Alchemy Mattes are a new product! This formula marries our Changeling Top Coat formula with our Mystic Matte Liquid Lipstick formula. Meant to worn in one of three different ways: As a lip wash (one coat), A Top Coat over your favorite lipstick, or layered to opacity for a comfortable liquid lipstick.

This is a matte formula and as such, may slightly dry the lips. Alchemy Mattes are NOT totally smudgeproof and may stain. We recommend exfoliating your lips before application and removing any excess oils or lip balms as these may decrease wear time. Some settling may occur due to the nature of the formula, so give your tube a shake before application.

This mystic arrives in our round 7ml tube with paddle doe foot applicator.

Ingredients: Isododecane, Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Beeswax, Castor Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Manganese Violet, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide

Beautiful shifty pink coral

This kind of reminds me of Pixie Ring. Beautiful layering shade that can also be worn on its own. It seems to have dried up somewhat in the tube after several uses. Other than that, it is a gorgeous color and one of my favorites from this collection.

It’s got a beautiful color, and I love how it looks layered on other lipsticks. The two stars is because I’ve used it 4 times, and it’s about dried up in the tube . This is not an issue I’ve had with their mystic matte line.

I have a few lip toppers that I stopped using over the years, since the sheen is uneven and the glitters are way too chunky. I remember trying to dissuade myself from getting this product since I've come to HATE non-gloss products like this, but my goblin brain went, "shiny, shiny, must add to hoarde."
Venus Crystal is a stunning shade that shifts from peachy cool pink to the coldest green gold before your eyes. Somehow, it's equal parts soft and daring - and the coverage is even, which is what made me fall in love with the alchemy matte formula. The whole line being named after the beloved characters from Pretty Guardian: Sailor Moon is a bonus for me.
tl;dr - I greatly dislike lip toppers but I'm in love with Venus Crystal. It's gorgeous by itself, and the coverage and chrome/glitters are even!
